A coconut soy candle is poured from a blend of coconut wax and soy wax. Both are plant-based, so the finished candle is vegan and pet safe, with no paraffin. The two waxes do slightly different jobs. Coconut wax holds a lot of fragrance oil and releases it steadily as it melts, which is where a lot of the scent strength comes from. Soy wax keeps the burn slow and even, so the candle lasts.
