Smoke Scented Candles
Hand-poured candles with smoke in the blend. Some are bonfire and bourbon. Some are incense and resin. A few just use a thread of smoke to darken a wood or a vanilla. All are poured in small batches in Holland, Michigan with 100% soy wax, a lead free cotton wick and phthalate-free fragrance oil.
Fireside Bourbon Soy Candle - Saffron, Bourbon and Bonfire

Cabin Life Soy Candle - Bergamot, Warm Spice and Smokey Embers
White Birch Soy Candle - Eucalyptus, Pine and Tonka Bean
Saffron Cedarwood Soy Candle - Saffron, Palo Santo and Amber
What smoke smells like
Smoke is dry, warm and a little bitter, like a fire that has burned down to embers. It has no sweetness of its own, so what it sits next to decides the whole character. With bourbon and leather it turns into a cabin at night. With amber and sandalwood it turns into incense. With vanilla and amaretto it goes soft and dessert-like. These are cold weather candles for most people, and they suit anyone who finds fresh and floral scents too light.
Common questions
What does a smoke candle smell like?
Dry and warm, like embers or a campfire the morning after. Ours are soft smoke, not ashtray.
What pairs well with smoke?
Bourbon, leather, tobacco, amber, sandalwood and clove. Vanilla softens it and citrus keeps it from getting heavy.
Which room suits it?
Living rooms, dens and offices, especially in fall and winter. Give it a larger space to work in.
Do these actually smoke?
No. Smoke is the fragrance, not the burn. Every candle uses a lead free and zinc free cotton wick and phthalate-free fragrance oil.
