What cypress smells like
Cypress is a clean, dry evergreen. Greener than cedar and less sticky than pine, with a cool, almost salty air quality. It is the note that makes a woody scent feel fresh instead of heavy. Paired with pine, juniper and eucalyptus it reads like a winter forest. Paired with amber, tobacco or sandalwood it warms up and gets grounding. A good year round pick if you like your wood scents crisp.
