Musk Scented Candles

What musk smells like

Musk smells warm and soft, close to clean skin or laundry pulled out of the dryer. It is not sweet and it is not sharp. Its job is to blur the seams of a blend and hold it in the room, which is why it turns up under sea salt in Ocean Air, under citrus and aloe in Green Clover & Aloe, and under amber and patchouli in Incense. If you have ever liked a candle without being able to name the note doing the work, it was probably the musk.

Common questions

What does musk smell like in a candle?
Warm and soft, like clean skin or fresh laundry. It has no sharp edge, and it is the last thing you smell as the candle burns down.

What pairs well with musk?
Almost anything. It works under citrus, sea salt, wood and amber, and it is what keeps a bright blend from disappearing.

Which room suits a musk candle?
Bedrooms and living rooms. Musk is quiet, so it works where a strong scent would be too much.

How long do these burn?
Burn time goes by size. A 5 oz burns 50 or more hours, a 7 oz 60 or more, a 9 oz 65 or more and a 10 oz 80 or more.
